Immediately after my graduation I was very fortunate to be able to live in Asia for six months. I probably visited most of the famous tourist destinations in China, Japan, Hong Kong and Macau, as well as an even larger number of completely unknown areas. I after all took 14,500 photos - that's almost 40 gigabytes of images, which for me are a major source of memories and retell moments that changed my life forever. Among other trips, I made extensive visits to famous and private Bonsai gardens and designers. During this period many genuine friendships developed that have shaped my image of Bonsai lasting until today. You can get a feeling for a fraction of my life in Asia from the following pictures. I particularly hope you have much pleasure when looking at them as these photos are probably the most personal that I will show on my website.
