Bonsai to me is a philosophy in its own right and an important part of my life.
It is the closest connection you can have with a plant; it is the desire to let this organism have a good life and to live one's own dream through it. The tree in its pot is more a story that starts today but which has an unknown ending than just a plant in a container.

Watching a bonsai spend many years with its owner, possibly even with it ending up in the hands of the next generation, shows the natural beauty of becoming, being and even fading away. Every little tree is the attempt to catch, hold and forward a little time. But Bonsai also is the relationship with an organism in which it is kept away from all adversity by its owner and designer.
In return the Bonsai rewards us by being sheer poetry and imagination.
